Restoring the connection with your mind, heart and body
Repair Connect and Thrive
My work as a Clinical Psychologist over more than 20 years has shown me that we are all on the same journey, and that sometimes we all need to be heard in a safe place. The space to drop into ourselves and listen to what is really going on, to find a pause, a breath, relief, a letting go.
It is an honor to walk alongside my clients on their journey as they courageously confront the challenges in their life. I am constantly amazed by the strength and resilience of the human spirit as my clients find inner harmony and improve their relationships with themselves and others.
I am alsocommitted to helping people release themselves from dieting and to recover from the impacts dieting has had on their lives.
I am honored to have you consider me to be a part of your healing journey.
“We all deserve to find a place of peace, harmony and joy.”
Conceptually ‘Kokoro’ unites the notions of the heart, mind, spirit and body and it sees these elements as one integrated system. This philosophy of interconnectedness is one that I feel deeply aligned with, and it inspires my work as a therapist,
By helping you to reconnect with yourself, you begin to regain trust in your own judgement and intuition. When you are more in tune with yourself and able to self-soothe, it reduces stress levels and promotes a sense of well-being.
At Kokoro Psychology, I have created a warm and inclusive space where you are safe to explore the issues that are impacting your happiness, peace of mind or sense of self. You will be supported whilst you develop awareness and understanding around these issues and learn new coping skills and ways of processing, thinking and behaving.
You are supported every step of the way on your journey
As an outcome-focussed therapist, I use a combination of evidence-based mindfulness and cognitive behavioural approaches, which have been shown to deliver results.
Over my many years of experience, I have been both humbled and inspired by people’s stories, layers of complexity and incredible resilience. This therapeutic process is an exceptional opportunity for connection, growth and change.
